A “Magical” Post

Hello, y’all. Welcome to my dark-ly world again. I will now deliver my first-ever “Demonic”! This is in regards to the upcoming 75th Anniversary of the release of both of Vincent Fleming’s classics – “The Wizard of Oz” and “Gone With the Wind” – in 2014. Now, they both have gone through a whole cavalcade of remastering, re-duxing and just generally being re-done over the many decades since their theatrical premieres. But – in regards to “The Wizard of Oz” – how about adding a feature that has never been thought of in any of its follow-ups, animation in place of the technicolour. It worked in the movie “Anchors Aweigh!”, where Tom and Jerry turn up in a song-and-dance sequence. Also, movies like “Space Jam” and all of the other “Looney Tunes” have made use of the live action and CGI treatment. So, why not remake “TWoO” like that. At least, in Dorothy Gale’s “Dream World”, anyway. Or, maybe a “TWoO”-“GWtW” crossover could be made. I am just formulating a plan of attack at this moment. Any feedback on this very issue would be ideal. A matter of this “Immense Importance” should have a resolution in due haste. Or, maybe, “I’m not in Kansas anymore, Toto.”!
